# CTL self-realization — NumericalOS praxis cycle (2026-08-09)

## Paradigm map (internal reflection)

## η sequence (this cycle)

1. **η_audit** — Live status dual-claim; self-init kernel+initrd PASS on disk; CF builder health OK; ISO path 1101.
2. **η_classify** — Decidable: document self-init PASS; GRUB serial default. Semi-decidable: ISO QEMU when builder recovers. Tarski: metal, multi-arch.
3. **η_bridge** — Praxis “fail-closed claims” ↔ principles STATUS test; ASEC longrun hold ↔ steady-state without join.
4. **η_apply** — Status surfaces updated + deployed; distro graph; observations/; GRUB default serial.
5. **η_verify** — `TestTruthfulness` + `test_distro` green; QEMU log `degraded=0`.
6. **η_converge** — Residual-stable *at cycle-1 end*: ISO serial still open (named). Next: recover CF builder or local Linux ISO path.

## Cycle-2 close-out (2026-08-10)

ISO/GRUB serial residual **closed** — see `2026-08-09-self-init-iso-cdrom.md` and
`2026-08-10-ctl-cycle2-topology-self-realization.md`. CF `POST /build` remains
the named infrastructure residual (not a boot residual).

Builder ≠ Verifier: serial log is evidence, not assertion upgrade without scope.

## Next decidable residual (superseded by cycle 2)

- ~~ISO chain open~~ → **closed** (local MSYS remaster + QEMU `-cdrom` serial).
- **CF Worker POST /build** still intermittent; cycle 2 hardens staging/sandbox id.
- Authenticated CF pack smoke needs session-local `BUILD_TOKEN`.
